Trifle

Ingredients

Milk 1/2 litre
Sugar 1/2 cup
Custard 1 cup
Cream 1 packet
Icing sugar 1 cup
Java coffee 3-4 tbsp
Fruit cake as required
Fresh fruit as required

Cooking Directions

Mix custard in cold milk.

Now heat milk on stove.

When milk becomes warm then add sugar.

When sugar dissolve then add custard and cook till mixture thicken.

Add cream and beat well.

Add icing sugar and mix well.

Dissolve the coffee in water and cut fruit cake cubes.

Assemble fruit cake cubes on trifle tray and pour coffee over it.

Then set fruit layer then a layer of creamy custard mixture.

Now put fruit layer, creamy mixture and then fruit layer respectively.

Finally decorate with fresh fruits and serve chilled.
